A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect for Pawnee and Richardson counties in southeast Nebraska until 3 p.m. Thursday.

The Nebraska Department of Labor is hosting a career workshop Tuesday at the National Guard Armory in Lincoln. The workshop is designed to help current and former servicemen and women translate their military skills into the civilian job market.
