The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission is reminding hunters to be cautious this fall when driving the state's rural roads.
Hunters could encounter everything from tall corn hampering visibility at intersections to encounters with large farm implements and tractors on back roads.
Officials say drivers should slow down at intersections and take a second look before proceeding and be courteous to farmers met on the road.
Hunters also are reminded that it is unlawful to shoot from a
public highway, road or bridge, including the traveled surface and right of way.
