The University of Nebraska Medical Center will take nominations
for the 2012 J.G. Elliott Award through Aug. 31.
The award is in memory of the Scottsbluff resident and Nebraska regent who died in 1974.
Nominees should be a state resident who've made a significant
contribution to the health of Nebraska, particularly in the areas
of education, research and community outreach.
The recipient will be selected by the UNMC chancellor.
The award will be given during UNMC's spring commencement ceremony in Omaha.
