A 10-year old Lexington, Nebraska boy was killed in a crash in southwest Kansas Tuesday. The Kansas Highway Patrol says a car, driven by 22-year-old Danica Ward of Laramie, Wyoming ran off the right side of a highway.
The crash was reported about 3:30pm on U.S. Highway 160, eleven miles west of Johnson City, Kansas.
The car rolled and came to rest on the passenger side. Ten-year-old Camden Ward was killed. Troopers say he was the only person in the car who was not wearing a safety restraint. It was not immediately clear what relationship he had with the driver.
Danica Ward, 3-year-old Emmalee Ward, 7-year old Benjamin Ward, and 3-month-old Aubree Ward were taken to the Stanton County Hospital for treatement.
