Beatrice, Gage County and state law enforcement officers have been notified that a Missouri man wanted on a murder warrant has Nebraska connections.
Officials say 54-year-old Daniel Chapman is suspected of killing
his wife last week at a gas station he and his wife, Sandra, owned in Cabool, Mo.
Nebraska authorities were notified because Chapman went to high
school in Wymore and his mother lives in Beatrice.
Beatrice Police Department Capt. Gerald Lamkin says his department is working with Missouri authorities. On Tuesday,
however, Lamkin said Chapman is not believed to be in Nebraska.
