Nebraska's unemployment rate dipped a tenth of a point to 3.8 percent in June, the lowest since December 2008.
A Nebraska Labor Department report issued Friday said the rate was 4.5 percent a year ago. Only North Dakota's rate of 2.9 percent was lower than Nebraska's last month. The national rate remained 8.2 percent.
In Iowa, the unemployment rate was up slightly to 5.2 percent.
