It was part of Pow Wow the Musical at the Rose Theater.
Students performed traditional native dances like the grass dance and shared information about Native American culture.
Performer Kayla Oskey said, “We don't want them to be stereotypical and just think, ‘Oh, well they just danced around.’ Like, there's actually stories and meanings behind everything."
There is one last performance of the musical. Friday, June 27th at 7 p.m. at The Rose.
