Golfers from all over the world will convene in Lincoln August 11-16 for the 65th Annual National Amputee Golf Open Championship, 24th Senior National Amputee Golf Open Championship and the International Cup.
Presented by Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital and the Lincoln Convention & Visitors Bureau, in conjunction with Wilderness Ridge Golf Course, these concurrent events will bring an anticipated 110 accomplished amputee golfers to Lincoln. These athletes will impress golfers, enthusiasts, and sponsors with their high level of play.
Wilderness Ridge Golf Club, located in south Lincoln at 1800 Wilderness Woods Place has beautiful scenery, outstanding greens and fairways with a championship golf course just over 7,100 yards.
The championship amputee tournament will be a 54-hole stroke play event for invited qualified players. Current National Amputee Golf Association (NAGA) membership is required for participation in the tournament. Seniors (50-59), super seniors (60-69), and super-super seniors (70+) will play from the designated senior tees.
The senior championship will be a 36-hole tournament. All players have the option to play from the championship tees, including ladies and seniors, for all three days.

On Monday, August 12, the week’s events will begin with a Sponsor Scramble. Teams will consist of foursomes, with one or more amputees on a team, as well as sponsors participants. Guests are welcome to play for a fee, if spots are available.
Lunch will be provided for each sponsor team participant coupled with a small awards ceremony directly following completion of play.
