A Friday traffic stop led to the seizure of more than 40 lbs. of marijuana, and the arrest of a Nevada man.
Around 12:30 pm., Friday, Oct. 12, a Nebraska State Patrol Trooper stopped a 2011 Ford rental car for failure to signal on the Utica Spur just north of the Utica I-80 interchange.
A NSP K9 indicated to the odor of drugs, and a subsequent search of the trunk yielded four pieces of luggage containing 44 lbs. of marijuana.
The driver and lone occupant of the vehicle, Manothin J. Siriaphone, 36, of Las Vegas, Nevada, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver.
