Family and friends gathered Friday night to remember one of Omaha's latest murder victims.
Those who knew Darryel Fields are still reeling from the loss. Police believe his girlfriend of about 16 years killed him during an argument.
Friday was about remembering Fields and celebrating his life.
His cousin, Nicole Myles, said, "We try to keep it a legacy of love. In spite of things that happen and things that may come and go, we're still there for each other no matter what."
Fields leaves behind seven children.
