Authorities are investigating a traffic accident in southwest Sarpy County that put some young children in harm’s way Thursday.
It happened on Highway 370 near the Interstate-80 interchange.
The crash involved a car and two pickups. The driver of a Kia hit the back of one and careened into another.
Two children in the car were taken by witnesses to a nearby vehicle. The kids, ages 11-months and four-years-old, were restrained and uninjured. Their father was hurt but faces charges when released from the hospital.
Authorities tell Fact Finders that Clark's Blood Alcohol Content was .21. He's also booked for 3rd offense DUI on top of the charges.
The children are now with their mom.
An occupant of one pickup also suffered an injury.
