Motorcyclist Hurt Southwest Of Omaha

Motorcycle crash injures one.

The Cass County Sheriff’s Department along with Weeping Water, Manley and Avoca fire and rescue units responded to Highway 34 and 144th Street Saturday afternoon just after 4pm. Reports from the scene indicated the victim may have suffered a broken leg. The female driver was transported to Creighton University Medical Center by Weeping Water Rescue.

The Cassgram reports Cass County Sheriff Wm. C. Brueggemann said the 2002 Kawasaki was driven by Cassandra Hillabrand, age 24, of Louisville. She was turning south onto 144th Street from Highway 34 and lost control of the motorcycle, struck the median and collided with a wooden pole in the median, said the report.
