Injured Motorcyclist Waited Two Days To Be Rescued

A motorcyclist injured in an accident on Interstate 29 Thursday night was found by a passerby and rescued on Saturday.

Council Bluffs police said 55-year-old Thomas Anderson of Red Oak, Iowa was heading northbound when a semi allegedly cut him off. Police told WOWT 6 News Sunday that Anderson said he then crashed into a nearby ditch. A passerby who stopped Saturday saw the motorcycle, then Anderson nearby.

He was taken Alegent Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha for injuries not thought to be life threatening.
