Authorities have identified a motorcyclist who died in a crash during a high-speed chase in eastern Iowa. The Linn County sheriff’s office says 26-year old Andrew Lown, of Cedar Rapids, died after his motorcycle crashed in a cornfield late Sunday.
The incident happened on Iowa Highway 100 near Marion. The chase reached speeds of more than 100 mph.
Lown died at the scene. Authorities released his name on Monday.
