A motorcyclist was seriously injured when he lost control of his bike on Interstate 80 just east of the Missouri River Wednesday night.
Witnesses told police the motorcyclist was traveling west on I-80 at a high rate of speed just before 8:30 p.m. when something fell off the bike. The driver, 54-year-old Brian Loye of Omaha, turned his head to look and lost control.
He was taken to Alegent Creighton University Medical Center for treatment.
