An Omaha man was hospitalized in critical condition after a motorcycle accident Tuesday night.
Sixty-one-year-old Kenneth Wells was riding eastbound on Highway 370 near 192nd Street in Sarpy County when for some reason he drove inside construction cones, hit a pile of sand, flipped and slid about 70 feet.
Wells was wearing a helmet, but suffered a serious head injury. He was taken to the Nebraska Medical Center by helicopter.
