An Omaha man injured in a crash Wednesday afternoon has died.
Police say 38-year-old Wesley Wiebe was riding his motorcycle southbound on North 40th Street at a high rate of speed around 1:30 p.m. when he lost control and hit a car heading northbound approaching Spencer Street.
Wiebe was taken to Alegent Creighton University Medical Center where he died of complications from his injuries. An autopsy is scheduled for Friday morning.
The driver of the car was not hurt.
