Rescue crews called for a medical helicopter this afternoon in connection with a car/motorcycle crash at the intersection of 222nd Street and West Center.
Captain Eric Sellers with the Douglas County Sheriff's Office said the motorcyclist was headed towards Omaha when he collided with a northbound car around 1 p.m. Friday.
North/South traffic has a stop sign and signal. East/West traffic does not.
WOWT 6 News could see the driver's side of the car smashed. There were no injuries to those in the car.
The driver of the motorcycle -- a man described in his 40's -- was flown to Alegent Creighton University Medical Center in critical condition. According to radio reports, medics were in the middle of performing CPR.
Names of those involved have not yet been released. Investigators were waiting for the accident reconstruction team before determining fault.
