More charges have been filed against a 29-year-old Davenport woman who's accused of doing nothing to stop her boyfriend from molesting her three daughters.
The woman had already been charged with misdemeanor child
endangerment. Scott County Attorney Mike Walton says that the new charges include three counts of neglect and three of child endangerment. Three of the counts are felonies.
The Associated Press is not using the woman's name so that her
children's privacy may be maintained.
One of the woman's daughters went to school authorities to
report the abuse. The girls are ages 10, 8 and 7.
The man who had been baby-sitting the girls, 25-year-old Jayme
Souder, has pleaded guilty to three counts of sex abuse. He's
scheduled to be sentenced on Wednesday.
