More Nebraskans Killed in Accidents Than Years Before

The Nebraska Department of Roads says 18 people were killed in accidents over the last month. The number of deaths year-to-date is up - the number almost 15% over an average of the same time period over the last 4 years.

The NDOR says 11 of the 14 vehicle occupants were not wearing seat belts.

More than a third of the victims were under the age of 24.
