A customer drops hundreds of dollars at a local restaurant. Weeks later, he still hasn't come in to claim it.

It happened at Lisa's Radial Cafe near 40th & Cuming.

Wendy Bechtel, a server at Lisa's, describes what happened.

"I cashed them out and then as I came around the corner I noticed this wad of money on the floor." said Bechtel.

Wendy grabbed the cash, hoping to return it.

"I ran out the door to try and catch them and they were already driving away." said Bechtel.

Wendy has worked at Lisa's Radial Cafe for almost 15 years. She didn't recognize the two men that came in that day.

"80% of our customers are local." she said.

She can give us a description of the two customers.

"They were probably 20's early 30's. There was a black gentleman and a white gentleman. It kind of looked like they were coaches. They were both dressed nice and real polite."

Wendy hopes the men will come forward to claim their cash.

"It just wouldn't feel right to keep the money."

We are not releasing the exact amount of the money in case the customer does come forward to claim it.

Lisa's Radial Cafe is adopting a family for Christmas this year. That family has 16 kids and grandchildren. Wendy says if the customer does not come forward, they will buy extra gifts for the family.
