Verizon Wireless says it will shut down its video service on December 15th; instead steering customers to its newer Viewdini product, which was introduced in May. The Viewdini lets users search for movies, TV shows, and other videos to watch on their phones. the service is free, but users have to pay for the videos.
December holiday airfares keep going up. New priceline.com data shows prices rising four percent from last year, based on the last two weeks of round-trip, online domestic ticket sales.
Meanwhile, Facebook has proposed changes to the privacy explanations and notifications it provides users and allow users to decide if they're ok with them. The social networking giant will adopt the privacy terms if they're approved by a vote of more than 30 percent of active users.
