A man who came in through the bedroom window of a ground-floor Lincoln apartment Sunday morning quickly went back out the window when confronted by the resident.
Police say the suspect entered the room where two children were sleeping shortly after 4 a.m. in a building on the 3500 block of Huntington Avenue. The children's mother quickly confronted him and he exited out the same window.
Officers searched the neighborhood, but were unable to find the man, believed to be in his early 20s. Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to call police at 402-441-6000 or Crime Stoppers at 402-475-3600.
