Omaha was buzzing this week thanks to a Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning yelling "Omaha! Omaha!" throughout Sunday's NFL playoff game. Now Pepsi is helping put the entire state on the map with it's latest YouTube advertisement.
Earlier this month WOWT 6 News reported on a small Nebraskan town getting a free country music concert hosted by Pepsi. The soft drink company has now released a video of the performance in Milligan, Nebraska on the official Pepsi YouTube page.
This week Pepsi released the video, and began promoting it on Twitter. At the time of this web posting more than 140,000 people had viewed the commercial.
The video is called "#Halftime America with Lee Brice." It's being used to hype up this year's Superbowl halftime show. Pepsi hinted that more videos could be coming from other communities. According to the description of the video on YouTube their choice of Milligan, Nebraska was due to it being "smack-dab in the middle" of America.
