The officials at Metropolitan Community College have made arrangements to provide extra assistance for our military veterans and their families.
Often times adjusting to life outside the military is difficult; MCC wants to make that transition as smooth as possible so they've set up a special branch of Student Services to cater directly to military members and their dependents.
The office opened today provides a number of services to help the former members of the military succeed in a civilian setting.
Ingrid Berlin says, "This is just more of a focused effort and a place for military students to be directed to so they know we're familiar with the services they need and challenges they may have."
The Military Services is a section of the MCC Student Services; the Military Financial Aid Assistance is also located in student services.
