Waterfalls, koi fish, even a tuba in a pond were part of the first annual Midtown Garden Walk.
The walk featured 21 gardens in neighborhoods like Aksarben and Field Club, among other midtown communities.
The residents aimed to show off the diversity of not only the gardens, but the neighborhoods as well.
Diana Failla, President of the Midtown Neighborhood Alliance said "One thing that we really want people to do is to join in with their neighborhoods. So that they get to know each other and they know that there are beautiful gardens in the historical Field Club Area, as well as beautiful gardens and nature walks in Elmwood Park too."
This house in the Elmwood Park neighborhood was one of the more popular stops on the walk.
This garden is inspired by Chinese landscape paintings.
