A newborn's family has had a tough road. Their first child was born 10 weeks early. A church is stepping in to help.
Amy and John Mickey were expecting their first child, a baby boy, in April of 2012.
Amy is a diabetic and started to have pre-eclampsia early on. She ended up giving birth to Colton on February 2nd, a full 10 weeks early.
Colton weighed three pounds at birth, but quickly dropped to 2 lbs. 11 oz. He spent many weeks in the NICU. Today he has made great strides and is up to 4 obs. 7 oz.
Amy was let go from her job on March 1st. A church is stepping in to help with hospital bills.
