A metro high school gathered Thursday night for a big unveiling. Thomas Jefferson High School in Council Bluffs finally has a statue of the founding father. It's made of bronze.
The statue represents the end of a big community fundraising effort and was the idea of a former teacher.
If people would like to go check out the statue, there will also be an open house Saturday afternoon.
