The case of a metro grandmother scammed by an online crochet business has touched hearts in the community.
Marie Tillman’s tenth grandchild is about to be born and she paid Snuggle Buggle for a blanket she never received.
One person who saw our Fact Finders report stopped by Marie’s home and handed her a beautiful blanket.
Marie said, “Isn't it absolutely gorgeous. She called me an insisted she was bringing it and she did."
At least a half dozen people offered to give her one.
The owner of the crochet business may face 10 fraud cases in Decorah, Iowa.
Customers like Marie not only didn't get their blankets but found their credit cards charged far more than the purchase price.
