A Westside High School senior is turning heads over at Google headquarters after entering the Doodle for Google contest. Augusta Thacker won the best entry from the State of Nebraska.

The theme for the contest was, "If I Could Make the World a Better Place."

Augusta came up with the idea for a holographic book and she says she can’t believe that her artwork was noticed.

“I don't even know how to feel about what's happening,” she said. “I think I'm still in shock. Every day, my mom will come up and be like, 'Oh my God, we're going to Google!’ and I'm like, 'Oh yeah, we are! I remember that!'"

From here, Google will narrow the 50 finalists down to five and Thacker needs your votes to help her make the cut.

The winner of the contest will be featured on Google's home page.
