Two men were arrested late Tuesday afternoon on suspicion of manufacturing methamphetamine.
A suspicious activity report at the Midwest Farmers Coop location at Mynard at about 5:15 p.m. resulted in Cass County sheriff’s deputies and Plattsmouth police officers searching for the suspects as they traveled back into the Plattsmouth area, according to the Cassgram.
The vehicle they were in was stopped near Rhylander Park. Deputies found evidence that anhydrous ammonia tanks at the coop had been tampered with.
The suspects, ages 44 and 23, both from Plattsmouth, were booked at the Cass County Jail.
