As the sun sets on this Memorial Day weekend, hundreds come to hear not rock, but classical music.
"The Omaha symphony is one of the best in the country," said Les Nummela, Korean War Vet.
Nummela's time in the service allowed him to hear music all over the world and the Omaha Symphony is his favorite. It helps his wife has played with them for 47 years.
But he isn't the only fan.
"I love the symphony and it's a wonderful opportunity to be outside, and a nice evening," said Marilyn Wymore.
The Wymore's come every year.
"I used to say it may be the best kept secret in Omaha, but I think a lot of people know about it now," said Steve Wymore.
Music isn't the only treat this Memorial Day, kids made their own fun with bubbles, while others got their face painted.
"Beautiful evening, lots of great music that everyone will enjoy," said Nummela.
All in all, the perfect combination to end another memorial day.
