Meetings Set Concerning Missouri River Water Quality

Three public meetings are planned to provide an update to residents and businesses about the CSO Long Term Control Plan and to solicit comments about the plan.

Under an agreement with the State of Nebraska, the City of Omaha is required to update the CSO Control Plan which is the guiding document for the federally mandated program to improve water quality to the Missouri River and the Papillion Creek..

Interested residents and businesses in Omaha’s regional wastewater treatment system have several options for the community public meetings:

- Wednesday, August 6, 2014
Westside Community Center

- Tuesday, August 12, 2014
Omaha Public Schools – TAC Building (Cafeteria)

6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
