Authorities say a meat smoker is to blame for an overnight house fire.
Lincoln Fire and Rescue responded a home near Briar Rosa & 28th St. around 12:30 a.m. Friday morning.
When crews arrived, the back deck and side of the house was on fire.
Firefighters were able to contain the damage to the exterior and attic.
Despite some smoke and water damage, the homeowners were able to remain in the house once crews put the fire out.
