Meal prices have been set for the next year in Millard Schools.
Meal prices will increase by ten cents for lunch, but remain the same for breakfast next school year under a plan approved by the school board. The increase is due to USDA requirements as well as rising food and fuel costs.
Elementary students will continue to pay $1.30 for breakfast. Lunch will be $2.15, up from $2.05 currently.
Breakfast will remain $1.55 for middle school students. Lunch will increase from $2.25 to $2.35.
Breakfast at high schools will remain $1.80. The basic lunch will jump by ten cents to $2.60. The lunch option currently costing $3.00 will be $3.10.
