Traffic Stop Nets 33 Pounds of Marijuana

A traffic stop for failure to signal on eastbound Interstate 80 led to the seizure of more than 33 lbs. of marijuana and the arrest of two Minnesota men.

Just before 11:30 a.m., Monday, a trooper from the Nebraska State Patrol stopped a 2013 Hyundai Sonata near York, Nebraska on eastbound I-80 for failure to signal.

An NSP canine indicated to the odor of drugs coming from the vehicle. A search led to the seizure of 33.1 lbs. of marijuana from the trunk of the car.

The driver of the car, Dana P. Noel, 58, of Minneapolis, Minn., and a passenger, Jordan P. Noel, 29, Burnsville, Minnesota, were both charged of Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Deliver
