Marijuana Citations Issued During Marian Search

A random check of student vehicles at Marian High School has resulted in a pair of pot citations.

OPD says police service dogs were on location as two girls were cited for having less than one ounce of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The random checks are unannounced and conducted throughout the school year.

Parents and students received calls alerting them that the citations had been issued.
