Omaha police appear to have little to go on as they investigate a shooting Sunday night. The victim, 23-year-old Charles Terry, says he was shot while in the parking lot of a restaurant at 16th & Victor just before 10 pm.
Police were called to the scene to investigate a report of shots fired. Officers were able to locate evidence of the shooting. They were then advised at the victim was calling from 19th & Burdette. Terry was transported to Nebraska Medical Center with a non-life threatening wound.
Police searched the area of the shooting but were unable to find the gunman.
A man was treated at the Nebraska Medical Center for a gunshot wound Sunday night.
Police said the victim, whose name was not disclosed, was sitting inside his car at 16th and Victor when someone shot him through the back window just before 10 p.m.
He drove to his home near North 19th and Burdette streets and called police.
