According to Omaha Police, officers were called to a report of a burglary around 2:15 a.m. near 30th & Washington St.

Two units responded to the call.

Officers noticed two suspects in a car in front of a home. The car started to move and partially hit officer Kenneth Porter and a police cruiser.

That's when officer Adam Fisher fired at least one shot -- hitting the driver of the car, 34 year-old Anthony Guiterrez.

Guiterrez remains in the hospital and is expected to survive but will face charges when he's released.

Police also booked the other suspect in the car, 20 year-old Adam Neitzell on burglary and criminal conspiracy charges.

After those suspects were in custody officers searched the home and found a third suspect holed up in the basement. Steven De-Luna was arrested on multiple charges including burglary.
