The indictment filed this week in U.S. District Court in Omaha says 44-year-old Russell Furby, of Tioga, N.D., failed to disclose that he gave two parcels of land in Nance County to his sister seven months before filing for his bankruptcy.
He filed for Chapter 7 in November 2008. Furby is due in court April 21.
