A Tulsa man who drove to Nebraska and took a 14-year-old Bellevue girl back to Oklahoma for sex was sentenced Wednesday to 10 years in prison.
Forty-three-year-old Dennis Lewis had been communicating with the girl he met on Facebook for about a year. An investigator said in a court affidavit that Lewis asked the girl for sex via text messages, persuaded her to send him nude pictures of herself and sent her pictures of his genitals.
Prosecutors said Lewis picked up the girl from her home last April 10th. Police in Tulsa found Lewis and the girl at his home and arrested him for transportation of a minor with intent to engage in criminal sexual activity.
Following his release, Lewis will face five years of supervised release.
