Charges have been filed against a man who shot himself in the leg at a Glenwood elementary school last week.
The incident happened on the playground pick-up area at West Elementary on January 24. Douglas Trent Good accidentally shot himself around 3:30 that afternoon.
Good has now been charged with carrying weapons on school grounds. That’s a Class D felony and it’s punishable by up to five years in prison and/or a fine ranging from $750 to $7,500.
He is scheduled to appear in court on February 11.
No one other than Good was injured in the incident.
