Police have released the name of a 60-year-old Omaha man who died of his injuries after he was struck by a car Thursday night.
It happened near 107th and Q streets shortly before 10 p.m. Investigators say Alan Henvey was crossing Q Street when he was struck by a sedan. Jonathan Green, a 24-year-old Omaha man, was behind the wheel.
Fire Department medics raced Henvey to Creighton University Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. He died at the hospital.
Police said speed and alcohol are not considered factors in this accident. Henvey was not at a crosswalk.
Investigators have not said if Green will be cited or charged.
