Omaha police have made an arrest in the shooting that occurred on Tuesday near 18th and Spencer.

Twenty-year-old Arttell Lampkin was booked for first-degree assault and two counts of use of a weapon to commit a felony.

Around 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, shots rang out in a house full of people that injured 30-year-old Roderick Bass of Omaha. He was taken to Creighton University Medical Center in critical condition.

At least a dozen cruisers flooded the scene to deal with crowd control. Officers held first responders back from the scene until they could confirm there was no danger.

Initial radio reports indicated Bass was shot in the abdomen, but investigators aren't saying.
