One man was taken to the hospital for a gunshot wound after an overnight shooting.
Police responded to a call around 11:30 PM Wednesday night at Omaha South High School.
They found 47-year-old Oanh Vu in a minivan in the parking lot with a gunshot wound to his wrist. It was believed he may have been shot with a shotgun.
Vu is a custodian at the school and had just finished his shift when the shooting occurred. Police say Vu had just gotten into his vehicle when a male suspect approached him and asked him to give him something. When Vu refused, the suspect shot him.
There were no reports of any children around the school at the time. Police have not released any suspect information.
