An Omaha man shot during a home invasion late Wednesday night has died.
Police were called to a residence near North 36th Street and Hartman Avenue around 11:40 p.m. after a report of two men forcing their way into a house. They found 41-year-old Timothy Marzettie suffering from a chest wound. He was taken to Alegent Creighton University Medical Center where he died.
A dark-colored car was seen leaving the area headed westbound.
Anyone with information about the murder is asked to call police at 402-444-5656 or Omaha Crime Stoppers at 402-444-STOP. A reward of $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest.
