Omaha police have made an arrest in connection with an overnight shooting.
Around 12:15 Monday morning, police said ShotSpotter indicated multiple shots near 30th & Pinkney. While en route, the call was upgraded to a shooting.
The victim, 27-year-old James Strong, was taken to the hospital by a private vehicle. Officers said Strong claimed that he was shot in the foot in a different location. They described him as uncooperative.
According to police, there was an exchange of gunfire at 30th and Pinkney. One of the people allegedly involved, 27-year-old William Bush, was later found at the hospital. He refused to speak to detectives, but was treated and then booked into Douglas County Corrections for felon in possession of a firearm.
Bush was charged, tried and found not guilty of the murder of Kyle McCroy. McCroy was shot to death in March, 2012.
