A Lincoln man accused of sexually abusing a 7-year-old girl has received probation.

Eighteen-year-old Alex Buser received three years probation after pleading no contest to attempted second-degree sexual assault and child abuse. Lancaster County District Judge Jodi Nelson told Buser she had some reluctance placing him on probation.

The 7-year-old girl told her father in May that Buser forced her to perform a sex act on him in a bathroom. Buser will have to register as a sex offender for the next 25 years.
