A teenager died Sunday morning in a high-speed crash in Papillion.
Police say 18-year-old Jon Zadina lost control of his car at East Cary Street and Engberg Road just before 12:30 a.m., and slammed into a tree, nearly wrapping around it.
Firefighters had a tough time getting Zadina out of the wreckage. Once freed, he was declared dead. "We believe that speed was certainly a factor and possibly alcohol," said Papillion Police Lt. Chris Whitted.
