A 25-year-old Fremont man was arrested after being accused of stealing beer from a convenience store.
Officers were called to a convenience store in the 1600 block of North Bell Street.
A clerk said a man had gone into a restroom with a 12-pack of beer before leaving the store. An empty bottle was found in the restroom and two other bottles were missing.
Officers tracked down Joshua Cantebury at his home and arrested him for shoplifting. He is being charged with a felony because it is Cantebury’s third offense.
